Ohio All-State Games. This year’s event will be held on Saturday, August 5th, 2023, Marion, OH.

The Ohio USSSA All-State Games will showcase players nominated throughout the 2023 season participating in MVP and Nominating qualifiers. Players will be nominated for displaying great overall effort and tournament performance throughout the season and great sportsmanship. To be eligible, players must be rostered on USSSA teams. It does not matter what state your team is from.

This celebration of softball and the best and brightest players and teammates in Ohio is much more than just on-field games. Off-field entertainment is also being lined up for the event and may include face painting, a DJ and other festival-like features.

Players will be placed on balanced teams with other players from other teams that represent the state or Region. Each team will play two exhibition games against teams from the same age group.

Max 3 players from same team.

OHIO USSSA ALL – STATE GAMES EVENT INFORMATION:

• Saturday, August 5th, 2023, Games could start as early as 9am with a check-in starting at 7:45am
• Location: RVBFY – 2250 Harding Highway East, Marion, OH 43002.
• Roster batting is mandatory.
• Catchers bring their own catching gear.
• All game balls will be provided.
• All Players wear your current teams Jersey.
• Games will be 80 minutes in length. Once the time has expired, we will finish the batter. No score will be kept.
• This event was created to be a fun, non-competitive showcase of players participating with other players from other teams. Poor sportsmanship of any kind will NOT be tolerated.
• All State Coaches will be High End Travel/College Coaches or players and we will assign them to fields the day of the event.
• All players that have been nominated at each All-State Showcase event will be posted on the results page of tournament at www.usssa.com as the All-Tournament Team.
• 2 division of play during All-State Showcase:  A/B and C
  • Ages & Divisions:
    • 8u (Open)
    • 10u (A/B & C)
    • 12u (A/B & C)
    • 14u (A/B & C)
    • 16u/18u (A/B/C) – This one may be one High School division based on sign-ups.

• Teams and schedules will be announced about a week before the event begins.

• Each player participating in the All-State Showcase will receive: Ohio All-State Showcase Tournament Ring, back sack, and Ohio All-State Jersey.

• Players who are selected and participate in the Ohio USSSA All – State Showcase will also be eligible to participate in the USSSA National All – State Games in Viera, FL.

PARTICIPATING PLAYERS IN All STATE GAMES RECEIVE:

• Ring
• Shirt
• Back Sack with event logo
• 2 Exhibition Games
• Coached by a Travel or College Coach or player.

Entry fee to participate: $85 paid before July 15, 2023

Players must be nominated in order to register. Registration closes Saturday, July 15, 2023

ALL STATE GAMES COACHING STAFF:

Coaching staff will be made up of Travel/College Coaches and/or former players from the surrounding Region. Teams can not request a coach.

RVBFY does charge a $10 per day parking fee.

This parking fee does go back into the park for improvements.
