Event Details

This event is our 5th Annual Back to School Bash event for both class A/B & C teams.

Format: 10/12/14/16/18u – A/B, B, & C divisions will feature 3 Saturday pool seeding games into Sunday single-elim bracket play.

Awards: Top 2 teams in each division will pick up rings along with team awards. Awards will consist of 12 champion and 12 finalist rings. There are a couple of “mash-up” grab bag of rings that consist of various rings we have given out this past season. Some are mix and match, some are complete sets. Team awards will be a banner for 1st and 2nd in each age group. There are 3rd place awards in the 14u-B division. Those are a 3rd place banner and medals with the event logo on them.

10u will be in separate gold/sliver brackets on Sunday. The breakdown is this: Gold will be the teams seeded overall at 1-5 and Silver will be the remaining 6-10 seeds. You could be playing a team again in the first round of the bracket due to seeding. Both groups will be playing for USSSA bracelets and a team banner. The teams in the Gold will be placed 1-5, and the Silver teams will be the 6-10 places.

Merchandise: There will be a merchandise pre-order for the event consisting of t-shirts, dry-fits, long sleeve t-shirts, and hoodies. There may be a few items onsite for sale as well consisting of tournament merchandise and other items. After the event, teams will have the option to purchase customized champions merchandise from UTP.

Additional Info: This event is also a 2024 USSSA National Championship qualifier for the top two finishing teams with an unpaid berth to a 2024 USSSA National Championship of their choice. Points Race Info: This event is the last chance for teams to earn points in our Points Race-for-the-Rings program for the 2023 season. This program is a state, regional, and national program that uses the USSSA point system to determine the winners of these custom rings. This is a new program for Ohio USSSA at the state level but a team from Ohio did win the Regional and National rankings in 2022.
